Your central role:

Transfer your profound mathematical knowledge into international practice

Your task is the development of global actuarial ERGO pricing in property and primary insurance. You will be responsible for controlling pricing and managing the portfolio.

This will give you the opportunity to drive and rethink traditional as well as emerging pricing topics. This goes from actuarial benchmarking, pricing models to profitability deep-dives.

Nationally and internationally, you can contribute and implement your knowledge. With your eye on improvements or developments, you steer pricing in the right direction and can react early in case of deviations. In the follow-up, processes are evaluated and improved by you.

You will act as an interface to many relevant ERGO departments. As a result, you participate in selected projects, share your knowledge and provide support, for example, in market entries or greenfield projects.

Your profile:

A good mix of team player and solution-oriented personality.

If you have successfully completed a degree in (economic) mathematics or statistics/stochastics, this is already a good basis. Do you also have training as an actuary? Then you meet the first requirements.

You have already gained several years of experience in actuarial pricing or risk management, ideally in your private sector environment. If you have also had contact with EMBLEM, SAS, Radr, R and ResQ this is an advantage.

In addition, the following qualities are particularly important to us: your strong social skills and team spirit as well as your good organization and ability to set priorities. You are able to present topics related to actuarial mathematics in a clear and understandable way.

Your intercultural competence as well as your fluent English facilitate your communication. German as well as other foreign languages are an advantage in national and international exchanges. A willingness to travel internationally rounds off your profile.
