Specialty Client Lead Business Requirement Analyst



Provides a critical layer between the partner, business, and Information Technology teams with responsibility to gather, analyze, evaluate, and document the business, functional, technical, security, performance, training, and data mapping requirements needed to effectively deliver data ingestion, financial reporting, and analytics for Program Business. Responsibilities will span both project and production support activities. The role will have a dotted line to AMIG EIM’s Data Requirement Manager. The role will be accountable for ensuring all required requirements artifacts are completed in accordance with company standards and methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead Business Analyst Responsibilities include:
  • Lead, plan, facilitate requirement gathering, and gap analysis activities.
  • Works independently tracking, managing, and reporting issues and scope changes on project efforts. Follows the formal SDLC process.
  • Produce business and technical documents such as scope statements, business requirements, technical requirements, test data and scenarios, and assumptions/dependencies.
  • Experience in leading large groups in requirement activities, reviewing the work of others, and/or serving as a technical lead.
  • Possesses a high degree of knowledge of core business applications, data, and business processes across multiple business, systems, and departments.
  • Manages day to day and long term activities of the Requirements Analyst Team.
  • Works with EIM Management and Leads to assure effectiveness and quality of artifacts.
  • Participates with the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of associates.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability including supervising, coaching, career development, training, and developing associates.
  • Participates in forecasting, budget, and staff based on volumes and growth projections to meet department goals. Coordinates resource assignment to project or production support activities


  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent work experience
  • Industry related designations
  • Requirement Analyst Technical Training or Certification
  • Strong in writing SQL queries and SQL Analytical Functions
  • Experience in using task management tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS) or similar tools
  • Minimum 5 years analysis experience in Data warehouse or Data Ingestion projects
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with data modeling principles, data governance principles and ETL
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions and collaborative activities driving to resolution and conclusion
  • Understanding of financial reporting systems, like general ledger required
  • Excellent working knowledge in business requirements, functional requirements, and data mapping.
  • Agile/Scrum Experience and familiarity with project management practices
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Visio
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Strong knowledge of business practices and theories, including a sound understanding of the business.
  • Ability to develop relationships in the organization at all levels to define problems, identify solutions, and facilitate change.
