Your central role:

You will be responsible for the technical leadership of the IS Risk Managers in the German and international ERGO subsidiaries and support them with your technical expertise in the implementation of the Group-wide ISMS

You are the contact person for the information security situation in the companies you support.

You always keep an eye on the challenges of the exciting intercultural cooperation.

You are part of the Information Security Team in Risk Management (2nd Line of Defense) and further develop the ISMS taking into account regulatory and group-wide requirements.

Last but not least, you will be involved in the preparation of risk reporting on information security to the Executive Board and the CISO and work on its further development.

Your profile:

Computer scientist with knowledge of information security coupled with a high level of personal responsibility

You have completed your studies in (business) informatics. Alternatively, you have professional training with an IT background. Either way, you already have several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of information security.
If possible, you bring experience regarding regulatory requirements of the insurance industry, such as VAIT and BSIG/BSI-KritisV.

Specific expertise in relevant security standards and certification (e.g. ISO 27001 LI/LA, CISA, CISM, CISSP) are desirable but not a must.

Your analytical skills are well-developed, your self-reliant way of working is results-oriented. In addition, you have high quality expectations.

You are familiar with communicating complex issues in an addressee-oriented manner at all hierarchical levels and in a way that is easy to understand, and you are able to present them confidently.

You have experience in an intercultural environment, especially in Europe and Asia. You enjoy occasional travel to German and international ERGO locations.

Fluent written and spoken business language skills in English.
