Your central role:

You will act as the contact person for the Group CFO, the CFO International and the ERGO International Board of Management on all business development issues, as well as for the foreign subsidiaries on all controlling-related issues. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing multi-year investment portfolio and earnings projections in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.

You will support the critical analysis and commentary of the business development of the International segment and coordinate the incoming commentaries of the individual companies (incl. joint ventures), as well as coordinating the segment planning process and contributing to the transition and further development of all relevant figure and reporting formats. In addition, you will review performance drivers and investment plans and coordinate action plans with the companies and track their implementation.

In addition, you will perform special tasks and ad-hoc issues, prepare special analyses/evaluations and decision documents.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in economics or mathematics with a focus relevant to the task. Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position and respective area of responsibility in an internationally oriented insurance company as well as a good knowledge of the organization, processes and procedures at insurance companies distinguish you.

You have good knowledge of methods and instruments in the areas of controlling, business analysis and planning, international accounting for insurance companies as well as basic knowledge of Solvency II. A strong analytical mind with a very good understanding of numbers and expertise in assessing complex controlling, planning and accounting issues, as well as the ability to present these in a comprehensible verbal and graphical form, are also among your skills.

A pronounced willingness to perform with an independent, proactive and systematic way of working as well as a high level of assertiveness and very good coordination and communication skills characterize you. With sound knowledge of SAP SEM BCS and very good skills in using Office standard software and initial experience with databases (SAS, TM1), you fully meet the requirement profile.
