Your central role:

Steering and further development of the pricing of commercial lines of the worldwide ERGO companies

You will contribute your experience to our team and develop creative and innovative strategies to improve the local pricing standards of individual companies. You provide services for individual companies, e.g. in the form of individual pricing or large individual risks.

Your expertise and know-how is in demand across countries: you support the optimization and further development of global methods as well as national/international pricing tools of ERGO companies. In doing so, you will ensure best practices.

You pay attention to governance requirements when profit testing and approving pricing and ensure revenue targets in Commercial Lines.

You will be responsible for the evaluation and analysis of the portfolio, rates and methodologies.

You will also provide support in the M&A area by assisting with the planned initiatives.

Your profile:

Experienced mathematician with expertise in the calculation of premiums and tariffs

Education: You have a degree in (economic) mathematics or a mathematics-related course of study with several years of experience in property/casualty and ideally have (started) training as an actuary (DAV).

Experience: You have several years of sound practical experience in premium and rate calculation for commercial lines, especially property, liability and motor. Alternatively, you bring several years of professional experience in reserving, retail pricing or internal risk modeling. You are familiar with state-of-the-art pricing and data mining tools (e.g. Emblem, Radar, ResQ, R, SAS).

Personality: You are a team player with strong intercultural and social skills. You approach a wide variety of stakeholders with comprehensible and convincing communication skills. You bring a willingness for occasional international project assignments.

Working style: Conceptual and analytical.

Language skills: Good to very good written and spoken English. German is a plus but not a must.
