Your central role:

Continuous monitoring of material risks and controls

The ICSM is responsible for:

Implementing ICS requirements in ERGO’s German Service Hub (including the execution of process scoping)
Acting as interface to the ERGO Technology & Services Management (ETSM) ICSM
Developing ICS schedules (timelines) for the control cycle
Operational implementation of the control cycle and ensuring compliance with ICS schedules
Reporting on ICS activities (incl. preparation)
Acting as technical (functional) contact person for process and control owners
Planning and executing/coordinating control tests (incl. remediation management)
Monitoring and quality assurance of test results
Carrying out regular reviews of the actual risk and control situation in the 1st Line of Defence

Your profile:

A good mix of sound technical expertise, team player and solution orientation

Completed Studies in Information & Communication Technology or a comparable course of studies
Several years of solid experience in IT operations and support and/or IT application development (in insurance, banking or financial services would be an advantage)
Additional experience in operational risk management or an accounting/consulting firm is an asset
Ability to create concepts and implement them in a targeted and results-oriented manner, ideally evidenced by previous activities and work results
Ability to understand complex issues, to critically question them and to communicate and present results and own conclusions in an appropriate way
Ability to innovate and encourage others to innovate
Ability to bring about decisions and drive implementation activities
Intercultural competence; working experience in an international environment, especially in Europe and Asia, is considered an asset
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English an German.
