Your central role:

Profitably apply your know-how to international risk management.

You will assume an independent risk control function for the foreign insurance companies and support the local risk management functions, e.g. in the context of product assessments.

You will ensure compliance with the standards required under Solvency II (reporting, models, methods, documentation) and ERGO Group guidelines.

You will assess and comment on the risk profile as well as the current risk situation of foreign insurance companies and provide input into ERGO International and ERGO Group risk reports.

Specialist international risk management topics are coordinated and handled by you. These include ad hoc issues, M&A projects and second opinions.

Last but not least, you will be responsible for communication, training and the communication of technical content (across the Group, across disciplines).

Your profile:

Experienced risk manager with communication skills

As a fundamental basis, you have a degree in mathematics or economics with a focus on finance or a comparable education.

Ideally, this is supplemented by your training as an actuary (DAV or comparable) and your experience in project management.

You bring several years of professional experience from insurance in risk management, actuarial, statistics, ALM area. Knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus.

You have the competence to give professional instructions and score with your very good communication skills.

Your very good English as well as your willingness to travel occasionally complete your profile.
