In this position you would provide accounting and administrative services within the RIA and FRR unit of Finance Ireland
Your job
Key Responsibilities:- Support to both RIA and FRR deliveries
- Setting up and performing analysis of data and required reconciliations
- Liaising with internal and external clients
- In conjunction with RIA colleagues, further develop the methods, processes and mechanisms for interaction so that data is delivered, processed and validated on a regular, business as usual basis with sustainable solutions for data challenges.
- To act as a liaison point between MR group units and GLISE units on technical reporting issues.
- Development and maintenance of processes and controls ensuring good data quality within the GLISE system.
- Ensure all insurance accounting and regulatory reporting requirements timelines are met.
- Setting up Large Single Risk policies and maintain quality of data in all underwriting systems
- Reviewing slips, endorsements, closings and other documentation received within RIAta
- Facilitate non-bureau payments, reserves and fee bookings
- Enhance data integrity and maintain quality assurance
- Perform elements of Credit Control, such as reviewing ledgers and corresponding with clients
- Assist Claims specialist in checking Reserves
- Review and maintain Technical Items on all company ledgers with commentary
- Produce invoices and complete non bureau processing
- Provide support for all internal business units (London & Munich)
- Support the Quarterly and Year End process
Your profile
Key Skills and Experience Essential- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Insurance or Reinsurance knowledge
- FSRI knowledge
- Educated to a degree standard or equivalent
- Ideally, Insurance/Reinsurance experience
- Working towards the Insurance Diploma
- Self motivated
- Flexible
- Attention to detail
- Pride and dedication to accuracy in the work
- Able to work effectively as a member of the team as well as independently
