Product Certifier/Compliance Engineer


Evaluate and certify Pressure Equipment Directive "PED" products, design and quality systems; prepare the certification of welder and welding procedure documents; issue work orders, track and manage projects; advise clients and inspectors of PED issues.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each area of accountability satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•Higher National Certificate (HNC) or higher in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
•A minimum of two years experience in engineering, with experience of pressure equipment
•Knowledge of PED and fabrication activities, including design, welding, materials and quality systems
•Capable of understanding and interpreting engineering codes and standards
•Dedicated to meeting customer needs and business growth
•Must possess a high level of initiative, self-motivation, work independently and yet be team focused
