Business Systems Analyst Sr


Serve as a primary technical resource providing technical insight and expertise on systems applications and infrastructure. Interact with IT resources to investigate and resolve moderately complex application bugs and data issues. Analyze existing architecture, applications and processes in order to facilitate continuous improvement to maintain maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Perform technical issue research and resolution in support of production activities. Participate in the facilitation of application implementation and enhancement testing as it pertains to business requirement fulfillment.


Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Management, Business Analysis, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience is required
3+ years’ experience in business systems analysis / configuration analysis is required
5+ years’ experience in roles that include a combination of Project Planning/Management, Information Systems, Process Development/Improvement, Configuration Analysis, Business Process Management, Workflow Design, or Business Gathering/Definition is required
Experience in Data Mining/Analysis, Client/Server Applications and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Experience in creating clear and concise project documentation specifications, test cases and production defect documentation
Hands on experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience in working in an agile environment is preferred

Knowledge & Skills:
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical thinker skilled at leveraging data to meet business needs
Strong attention to detail
Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and ensure assignments are delivered on time
Ability to collaborate within the organization and across product teams
Documents and follows complex and/or detailed technical procedures
Independently applies technical and business judgement to work assignments to achieve desired outcomes.
