Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves property claims which are the most complex in coverage and represent the company's largest damage exposures. Provides a high level of technical expertise to many customers/clients on a national level, using a combination of virtual investigation and physical investigation methods.  Handles claims primarily valued over $100,000 but the exposure size may vary based on other complexity factors and/or business needs.  Develops claim file strategies with clients to demonstrate our Claims Value Proposition and consistently achieve accurate and timely claim outcomes. 

 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
• Advanced degree in Law, Engineering or Business is preferred
• Professional designation (i.e. PE, CPA, AIC, ARM or CPCU) is desired
• 5+ years experience in large loss/complex P&C claims handing
• Experience with mechanical/electrical equipment
• Experience with financial statements and forensic accounting
