Parent company reporting and analysis and core general ledger reporting and analysis. Support the financial closing process and PeopleSoft processing functions. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years’ experience in accounting and reporting
- P&C insurance experience is preferred
- CPA is a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to influence at all levels of management
- Ability to prioritized multiple tasks and work within tight time frames
- Strong process improvement acumen
- Strong computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, macros and working with databases. (SAP, PeopleSoft G/L and nVision, Power BI, SQL, SAP Business Objects or other digital reporting tools)
