Accounting Compliance Analyst

Plans and executes Internal Controls System (ICS) testing to ensure Model Audit Rule Sarbanes-Oxley (MARSOX) compliance and assists in the preparation of periodic status updates and presentations to management.
Assist business areas in assessing, documenting, and updating ICS controls. Provide guidance and training on internal controls and MARSOX process.
Review testing of temporary staffing resources as needed.
Assist in the planning and performance of the quarterly balance sheet reconciliation control.
In addition, will be involved in other Finance Department related initiatives and projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting is preferred.
- 3+ years audit and/or accounting experience with public accounting firm or Fortune 500 company
- Experience documenting and evaluating internal controls.
- CPA, CIA or in the process of pursuing professional certification is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communications skills (verbal and written)
- Organizational skills
- Time Management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- MS Office specifically Excel and Word
